What this does
The numbers behind your store, across revenue, contribution after costs, where customers came from, and how operations are running.
Before you start
Enough orders for a figure to mean something.
Steps
- Open Analytics.
- Choose the window you want to look at.
- Move between sections: revenue, acquisition, customers, operations.
What happens next
Nothing here changes your store. Figures are worked out from your orders each time you look.
Common problems
Contribution is blank. It needs product costs. Enter them so Torva can subtract what things cost you from what you sold them for.
Orders are attributed to "unknown". The visit that led to them carried no source Torva could read. Direct traffic and some apps strip it.
My ad spend is not here. Torva does not hold ad spend. It can tell you what arrived and what it bought, but cost per acquisition has to come from the ad platform itself.
Still stuck?
Ask Torva from inside your account. It knows everything in this article and can also see what your own store is currently doing, so it can answer for your situation rather than in general.
