What would a card processor find on your store?

Research-use-only supply stores get declined for the same handful of reasons, and almost all of them are words on a page. Paste your address and see your score, and the findings a reviewer would stop at, in plain English.

We read your public pages the way a card processor’s reviewer would: storefront, product pages, policies and checkout. No login, nothing changed on your site, about twenty seconds.

What we check

The things a reviewer opens your site to find.

The same rules Torva enforces on every store it builds, run against your live pages.

  • A product may require policy review

Review the actual product against applicable laws and provider policies. Codes do not establish eligibility.

  • A page makes a health, dosing or effect claim

A claim about what a product does in a person turns research supply into an unapproved drug offer, for a processor and for the FDA.

  • No 21+ age confirmation before the store

Underwriting for this category expects an age gate on entry, and its absence is one of the fastest declines there is.

  • No research-use-only notice on the storefront

Without a visible research-use restriction, the site reads as selling for human use whatever the products are.

  • No research-use confirmation at checkout

A notice in the footer is not a record; a processor asks what the customer agreed to at the moment they paid.

  • A policy page a processor asks for is missing

Shipping, refund, privacy and terms pages are read during underwriting, and a missing one stops the application.

  • A product photo names a compound in its file name or alt text

This finding is about metadata, not observed text in the photograph. Uncertain image evidence requires manual review.

  • No business contact details customers can see

Card scheme rules require a reachable support address and a physical business address on the site itself.

  • 90–100 · Ready for reviewTorva found none of the things it checks that processors commonly decline for. Keep it that way.
  • 70–89 · Nearly thereA short list stands between this store and a clean review.
  • 40–69 · At riskA reviewer opening this site today would find reasons to stop.
  • 0–39 · Likely to be declinedThings processors commonly decline for are on the first page.

What does the Processor Risk Score check?

The public pages a card processor’s underwriter opens: your home page, shop, product pages, policies and checkout. It looks for compound names processors decline, health, dosing or effect claims, a missing 21+ age gate or research-use-only notice, missing or thin shipping, refund, privacy and terms pages, and missing business contact details.

How is the score worked out?

It starts at 100 and each finding takes off a fixed amount for its rule, with a cap per rule so one repeated problem cannot hide the rest. Fix the top finding, check again, and the number moves by an amount you can predict.

Will a good score get me approved by Stripe or another processor?

No tool can promise that. Each payment provider makes its own decision. The score tells you whether the things reviewers commonly decline for are on your site today.

What do I get for my email?

The full list: every finding, the page it is on, the text there now, a plain-English reason a processor cares, and the sources behind it. It opens on the page straight away. Nothing is emailed to you automatically.

Do you log in or change anything on my site?

No. We fetch the same public pages any visitor can open, identifying ourselves as TorvaPreview/1.0. We never ask for an admin login and never change your site.

Is renaming a compound to a code a way of hiding what I sell?

No, and Torva will not help with that. Code names are the listing convention processors and ad reviewers accept; the product, its purity and its research-use-only restriction are still stated plainly.
