What this does

Home is the first thing you see when you open Torva, and it answers one question: is anything wrong right now. It shows what needs your attention, what has just happened in your store, and how the last thirty days are tracking.

Before you start

Nothing. Home works from the moment your store exists, though the performance chart needs a few orders before it says anything useful.

Steps

  1. Read the attention list first. These are things Torva found that need a decision — paid orders waiting to ship, stock running low, a connection that stopped working. Each one links straight to the place you fix it.
  2. Glance at recent activity. The five most recent things that happened. Select Show more for the rest of the recent batch, or View all activity for the full history.
  3. Check the performance chart. Paid net value and order count over the last thirty days, against the period before it.

What happens next

Nothing on Home changes your store. Everything here is a link to somewhere that does.

Common problems

An attention item I have dealt with keeps coming back. Dismiss it from the item itself and choose how long to hide it for. Dismissing is not fixing — if the underlying condition returns, so does the item.

The chart says the window total is up but my bank says otherwise. The chart counts paid net value by the date the order was placed, not the date the money settled. Payouts land on your processor's schedule.
