Free tool · Processor check

What a processor’s reviewer looks at on your store.

Research-use-only stores are reviewed on a short list of things anyone can see on the public site: product names, claims language, age and research-use gates, policies and contact details. Paste your address and see, item by item, which of them turned up on your pages.

We read your public pages the way a processor’s reviewer would: storefront, product pages, policies and checkout. No login, nothing changed on your site, about twenty seconds.

What it checks

The list a reviewer works through.

11 checks in 6 groups, run against your live pages. They are the same rules Torva applies to every store it builds.

  • Product and page names

Reviewers and ad systems match on restricted names directly, so the catalog’s names are usually the first thing read.

Product names · Descriptions, headings and FAQs · Diluent listing

  • Claims language

A sentence about what a product does in a person makes research supply read as something else, to a processor and to a regulator.

    Claims about people

  • Age and research-use gates

Reviewers in this category look for a 21+ confirmation, a visible research-use restriction and a record of what the buyer agreed to at payment.

21+ age confirmation · Research-use-only notice · Confirmation at checkout

  • Policy pages

Shipping, refund, privacy and terms pages are read during underwriting, and a page that exists but says little is read as missing.

Shipping, refund, privacy and terms · What the policies say

  • Business contact details

Card scheme rules expect a reachable support address and a physical business address on the site itself.

    Support email and business address

  • Product photos

File names and alt text are text a reviewer reads, and renaming a product does not rename its photographs.

Why the public site

Reviewers read the store, not the pitch.

When a research-supply store applies for card processing, and again whenever an account is reviewed later, the reviewer opens the live website and compares it with the application. Most of what stops a review is words on a page: a product listed under a restricted name, a sentence about what a product does in a person, no age or research-use gate, a policy page that says nothing. Those are fixable, and this check shows where they are.

It cannot see your application, your processing history, your dispute rate or the rules where you operate, and it cannot predict any provider’s decision; each payment provider makes its own. This check is not legal advice.

What does the processor check look at?

The public pages a payment processor’s reviewer tends to open on a research-supply store: the home page, catalog, product pages, policies and checkout. It looks for restricted product names, claims language about what a product does in a person, a 21+ age confirmation and research-use-only notice, a confirmation at checkout, the four policy pages and what they say, business contact details, and restricted names in photo file names and alt text.

Does a clean result mean a processor will accept my store?

No. Each payment provider makes its own decision, and it also weighs things no website scan can see, such as your application, your history, your dispute rate and where you operate. The check shows whether the things reviewers commonly look at are on your public pages today.

Why does a row say “Not checked”?

Because the scan could not test it, and saying “nothing found” would be wrong. The usual reasons are a catalog behind a login or bot check, or a checkout that only shows the payment step with something in the cart. The report says which.

How is this different from the Processor Risk Score?

It is the same scan. The Processor Risk Score condenses it into one number out of 100; this check lays it out as the list a reviewer works through, row by row, with no score.

What do I get for my email?

The full report: every finding, the page it is on, the text there now, a plain-English reason and the sources behind it. It opens on the page straight away. Nothing is emailed to you automatically.

Do you log in or change anything on my site?

No. We fetch the same public pages any visitor can open, identifying ourselves as TorvaPreview/1.0. We never ask for an admin login and never change your site. Checks are limited per visitor, and some sites have asked not to be scanned; those are refused.
