Lapis describes a research-commerce platform with themes, an admin demo, email, affiliates, analytics and AI editing. Those categories alone do not distinguish Torva. Evaluate how each system handles your actual catalog and daily work.

What you can evaluate in Torva today
Open Torva’s eight public theme demos and compare the catalog, product, documentation and checkout presentation. All plan proposals include the visual editor; Meridian and Nocturne are part of Command. The public Desk demo lets you explore sample orders and operating context without connecting a store.
Torva’s proposed packages are Core at $299, Growth at $599 and Command at $999 USD per store per month, with $0 upfront setup and a 30-day, no-questions-asked refund of the first subscription payment. Public subscription activation is not yet open. The automated migration scanner and personalized assembly flow are in development for Growth and Command.
Compare the workflows that will decide the move
Bring the same example to both products: a product with two variants, quantity price breaks and documents for different lots. Ask to see the full mobile purchase journey and the resulting order. That exercise reveals more than a long list of feature names.
- Editing: can you change the page, image, navigation and supported layout without rebuilding the site?
- Documentation: can a customer find the correct lot document?
- Operations: how do partial refunds, inventory changes and order exports work?
- Marketing: what is included, what has usage limits and what requires another service?
- Migration: what is imported, what needs review and how are old URLs handled?
- Commercial terms: verify provider costs, support scope, cancellation and refund terms directly.
