List the work you need covered
Start with storefront, catalog, orders, email, affiliates, reporting and support. For each, record the tool you use today, monthly charge, usage limit and the manual work between systems. Keep payment processing and domain costs visible even if the new platform does not replace them.
Do not count a subscription as a saving until you know it can actually be retired. A feature with the same name may not cover the same workflow or volume.
Use a transparent comparison sheet
Create columns for current cost, proposed cost, one-time work and unresolved questions. Include an honest estimate of staff time spent reconciling records. Label that estimate separately from invoiced expenses.
Example: replacing a $100 tool with an included feature saves $100 only if you can cancel the old service and retain what you need. If the new feature requires another paid connector, include that charge before calculating the difference.
- Compare the same number of stores and users.
- Check sending, AI and storage allowances.
- Confirm migration and support scope.
- Separate guaranteed inclusions from roadmap items.
Apply it to Torva
Torva’s proposed monthly packages are Core $299, Growth $599 and Command $999 per store, with no upfront setup fee. Command has the broadest feature package, but the best fit depends on which workflows your business will use.
The first subscription payment has a 30-day money-back guarantee. Public subscriptions are not open yet, and service allowances must be finalized before activation. Use the demos and ask specific workflow questions before deciding.
Explore the Desk demo, walk through the eight themes or compare the Torva packages. No account required to explore.
