Edit your storefront in Studio

What this does

Studio lets you shape your storefront, review changes and publish when ready.

Before you start

Open a store where you have owner or admin access. Product content and storefront design have separate save controls.

Steps

### Start with the page you want to change Open Storefront → Studio. Use the Page menu or Pages tab to choose Home, Catalog, a product, About, FAQ, Contact, COAs or another page. Click the preview to open the controls for that part of the page. On a phone, switch between the preview, page structure and editing controls using the bottom tabs.

### Make it yours Use This page to edit its content and sections. Site style holds shared brand, header, navigation and footer settings. Page and section layout choices change the composition without deleting your copy. Use Navigation to change labels, order links, or replace FAQ with your COAs page.

You can also use Ask the builder to describe a change, review the proposal, and keep or undo it.

### Save, preview and publish Save draft stores your design without changing the public shop. Open preview shows the saved draft on the page you are editing. If you have unsaved changes, the link says Saved preview: save first to see those changes there. Publish is a separate action.

Product information has its own save controls. Product names, descriptions, prices and images save to Products directly; the design around them stays in your storefront draft.

### Connect Claude or Codex Open More → Connect Claude or Codex. In AI connections, create a storefront editor key and copy the MCP server URL. Configure a client that supports HTTP MCP with a bearer token. Keep the secret in that client's credential settings.

The storefront editor key can read the current storefront and save draft changes to its theme, pages, sections, navigation, policies, SEO and layout settings. It needs full API access and the storefront read/write scopes. Existing keys do not gain these scopes automatically. Meridian and Nocturne require Command.

Ask the agent to read the draft, make the requested change, and save it for review. It cannot publish, and these storefront tools cannot edit catalog records. Refresh Studio to inspect an agent's saved draft; save or discard any local edits before refreshing. If someone else saved first, the agent must read the new version before trying again.

What happens next

Your saved draft is available in Studio and the private preview. Publish separately when you are ready to update the public shop.

Common problems

Undo an unwanted local edit, or use History to review earlier saved revisions. If the built-in planner handles an AI request, the server AI connection is unavailable and the planner supports a smaller set of changes.
