Creates an offer that applies automatically when an order qualifies, rather than waiting for a code.
Before you start
Know what you want the offer to do and which products it covers.
Steps
- Open Promotions.
- Describe the offer you want, or build it with the form.
- Review what Torva proposes. It shows in plain words what the rule will actually do before anything is saved.
- Save.
What happens next
Qualifying orders get the offer at checkout with nothing typed. The order records which promotion applied.
Common problems
The offer is not applying. Check the products it covers and any minimum. The effect description on the promotion says exactly what has to be true.
It described the offer differently from what I meant. Edit it. A promotion is money, so Torva shows you what it understood rather than guessing quietly.
Can it stack with a discount code? No. One discount or promotion applies to an order.
