Store readiness

The research-store launch checklist.

A practical review of the catalog, documentation, mobile journey, payments and operations before a store goes live.

Start with the product the customer will actually receive

Compare each published product with its source record. Check the name, variant, quantity, price and stock behavior. A consistent vial image helps a shopper recognize the product, but the label in a generated image is not a substitute for an accurate product record.

Check quantity pricing at the boundary: one below the threshold, exactly at it and one above it. The product display, cart and checkout should agree. Use the quantity-pricing calculator to review merchandise economics before publishing a discount.

Make documentation findable and correctly matched

Open each published COA from the customer-facing product page. Check the product identity, lot number, file legibility and link destination against the original document. Keep missing or unreviewed documents distinguishable from approved ones.

A research-use acknowledgment records what a visitor declares. It does not independently verify age, qualifications or intended use. Torva Watch is a review tool for findings, not a legal certification or a promise that a product may be sold in every jurisdiction.

Test the complete mobile purchase journey

Begin in a fresh browser session on a phone-sized viewport. Open the first-visit acknowledgment, use the catalog, choose a variant, add multiple units and reach checkout. Reopen the cart, change quantity and confirm totals update.

Test the checkout choices your store actually supports. An unconnected processor or a manual payment instruction is not a completed payment. Confirm the shopper can choose an available shipping option, see the final amount and understand what happens next.

  • Can a thumb reach the purchase controls without horizontal scrolling?
  • Are labels, error messages and selected states readable?
  • Does a failed or cancelled payment have a clear next step?
  • Can support identify the order and its actual payment state?

Give the team a workable first day

Verify the contact inbox, transactional emails, shipping workflow and who can access the Desk. Test an order with the appropriate provider test mode, then confirm the order record and customer-facing confirmation agree.

Use the interactive checklist as a preparation aid. Its checkboxes are stored only for your current browser session and do not certify that a live store passed an audit. The merchant remains responsible for product claims, policies and the services they connect.
