Can you guarantee a processor approves me?
No, and nobody honestly can. Each processor decides for itself. What Torva does is build your store to what processors publicly review (the 21+ research-use gate, accurate product identification, no dosing or effect language, written policies) and, on Command, check your live site every week and email you when something serious changes. While cards are being reviewed, or if a card account pauses, you keep selling on Zelle, Cash App and Venmo.
Stripe already closed my account. Can I use Stripe on Torva?
Whether Stripe takes you back is Stripe’s call, not ours, and we’d rather you knew that before you pay. Go live on Zelle, Cash App and Venmo first, and don’t reapply until the new site is up. Never open a second account or describe your business differently to get past a review.
Moving sounds like a nightmare. What actually moves?
On activation: products, variants and prices, photos, COAs filed against their products, your policies, pages and navigation, and redirects from your old URLs. We import your customer CSV, upload any COAs that were never public, connect your domain and set up your sending address with you. Past orders, reviews, gift-card balances and discount codes don’t transfer, and we say so up front. Your old site keeps taking orders until you switch.
What about cards?
Cards run through your own Stripe account, set up inside the Desk, and Stripe decides whether to approve you. We recommend going live on Zelle, Cash App and Venmo first, then connecting Stripe, because Stripe reviews the live site. Authorize.net and NMI are coming this week. PayPal, crypto and ACH aren’t offered.
I only take Zelle. Is this for me?
Yes; the back office is built around it. At checkout the customer sees your handle, the exact amount, the order number for the note and your QR code. In the Desk, Waiting for payment lists who owes what. Forward your payment emails and Torva puts each beside the matching order; you still press Mark paid, because a screenshot isn’t money.
Who owns my data? What about lock-in?
You do. Settings → Advanced → Export everything downloads your whole store, and orders, products and customers also export as CSV. It’s month to month, you cancel online, and after a plan ends you can still sign in and export for at least 90 days. Your domain and your Stripe account stay yours.
Do you take a cut of my sales?
No. No transaction fee, no percentage and no setup fee: only the monthly plan. Card fees are Stripe’s, charged to your own account, and Zelle, Cash App and Venmo never touch Torva.
